iPhone 4S Available for Pre-Order on October 7th, Shipping on the 14th
Apple's latest iPhone, the 4S, will be available for pre-order this Friday, October 7th, and ready to ship on October 14th. This is a pretty fast turnaround for Apple, as iPhone announcements generally precede the actual release by a month. It features the new-ish dual-core A5 processor, an 8 MP camera with better low-light performance, the new Siri Assistant feature, up to 64 GB of storage, and everything else iOS 5 has to offer. Prices start at $199, like usual, and go up to $399, and you can grab one on AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint (sorry T-Mobile!). If you're thinking of picking one up, head over to Gizmodo to get all the details on Apple's new device.
